IBC boost
hooked up the new seperate power supply for the IBC
looks like most of the radio noise problem is solved.
now (with no connection between IBC and RX) there is no difference if the ibc is on or off, 26 meters range both ways (small top hat and tx antenna down)
driving a motor we get about 15 meters range (tx antenna up), so thats double what we had with the opto and (scary) steel box, and well about 15 times what we had with the standard setup.

I think i'll try optoing the rx from the IBC again and see what range we get but I doubt it'll improve things much there shouldnt be any spikes from the motor making it into the power supply. I'll just try the BEC off and running off RX battery again see if that helps things at all.
looks like some more RFI screening on the motors would give us a further range boost, anybody got some handy tips on suppression?
hmmm i wonder about a sheilded can around the motors mwaaa ;->
now to make the wepon driver (with inverter)
